These are really nice to use on tarps. The end threads through the grommet hole and flops over parallelto the hole. Now using the clip side pull tight around the object to fasten off to,.. and reconnect to itself as shown in the photo. A nice clean easy way to make use of the grommet holes. Because these can connect back into themselves to form a loop,..you can always add more string, bunji, etc. as needed. This design puts less fatigue on the grommet hole making it not only last longer but actually fulfill its purpose.
